Xeomin®

XEOMIN® is a prescription medication used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines (glabellar lines) between your eyes, forehead wrinkles (transverse forehead rhytides), and crows feet around your eyes (lateral canthal wrinkles).*

How XEOMIN® Works

XEOMIN® (incobotulinumtoxinA) contains botulinum toxin type A, a protein purified from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botulinum type A acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting. By reducing these contractions in your forehead and around your eyes, XEOMIN® can reduce the deep lines and wrinkles that have formed and help prevent them from continuing to form.*

Proven Results

XEOMIN® was proven effective in two randomized, double-blind, multi-center, placebo-controlled clinical trials of adult patients for the treatment of glabellar frown lines.* Most patients observe visible improvement as early as a few days after injection, while the maximum effect is achieved around 30 days, with results lasting for approximately 3 months.*

Treatment is Quick and Easy

During XEOMIN® treatment, our Registered Nurse and Injectable Specialist, Deborah Geary will inject XEOMIN® into the muscles in your forehead and/or around your eyes. Only topical or local anesthesia is used, and this treatment is so quick and easy it can be done on your lunch break

FDA Approval

FDA approval of XEOMIN® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines in adult patients.

Important XEOMIN® Treatment Considerations

XEOMIN®, or any other botulinum toxin product should be administered no more frequently than every three months. Do not take XEOMIN® if you: are allergic to XEOMIN® or any of the ingredients in XEOMIN®; had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product. Before you take XEOMIN®, tell your doctor about all your medical conditions and medications. XEOMIN® may cause serious side effects that can be life threatening. Headache was the most common side effect of XEOMIN® for treatment of glabellar lines.
