We offer Sculptra® as a series of 2 injectable treatments administered by Deborah Geary, a Sculptra® Aesthetic trained Nurse. FDA Approval
Sculptra® Aesthetic is FDA approved in the United States and has been used worldwide since 1999. Sculptra® Aesthetic is indicated for use in immune-competent people as a single regimen for revision of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies (smile lines) and other facial wrinkles.* Sculptra® is the first such treatment approved for a condition known as lipoatrophy, or facial wasting, a sinking of the cheek, eye and temple areas of the face caused by the loss of fat tissue under the skin.
Important Sculptra® Treatment Considerations
You should not use Sculptra® Aesthetic if you are allergic to any ingredient of the product or have a history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring. It should not be injected while you have an active skin infection or inflammation in the treatment area and should not be injected into the red area of the lip. Side effects may include injection site discomfort, redness, bruising, bleeding, itching and swelling.
