We are all so proud of Dr. Danyo for challenging himself with his second Ironman Triathlon this Sunday in Lake Placid! It takes great strength, commitment and perseverance to participate in a competition like Ironman. Not only is the race itself a challenge, but the training is rigorous and time consuming. The triathlon includes a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run. (Phew, I’m tired just writing about it.)
In his first race, bad weather caused the swim portion to be cancelled. This time around Dr. Danyo is looking forward to better weather, and an opportunity to compete in the swim, bike and run. Dr. Danyo finished his first Ironman in the top 25% of his division. He is determined to score even higher this time around. Join us in wishing Dr. Danyo the best of luck during the competition on Sunday.
